Expression of Joy

Sometimes in spite of working really hard , you don't get proper results . Sometimes without doing anything much , you get rewards . Life is like that and we always question when things don't go right , why?? When things go perfect , we never feel grateful . This is quite a irony of life .

Self Criticism , another thing  which we need to eliminate from ourselves , we keep on and on criticizing . Lets put a full stop to it . We may have gone wrong  in the past  , lets not focus on it, correct the wrong and march ahead rather than criticizing again & again stating you are no good etc . Lets work on ourselves . Our life is work in progress . Need to keep on working on it . Be in the right path .Eliminate the clutter and focus on good things .

Complain , We all complain and complain . Lets try one day not to complain and criticize and see how we feel . Definitely a lot better . Whatever is in our control , we have to change rather than complain and accept the things which we can't change .

Lets live our life as Expression of Joy rather than expecting something out of action else we will be happy only on 1st of every Month. Lets strive to change our thinking and change our lives in turn .
If we only eat , sleep and do mediocre work , then we live like buffaloes . Lets bring more meaning to our life  and spread smiles. Spirituality is not something for the old . Its for one and all. Amazing article about AOL Teacher in the below link and details about course.

Blame Game

Be very careful on what you are talking to yourself because you are listening . This is so very true . We   tend to talk  such negative things with ourselves . Lets today do a conscious effort on what we talk with ourselves or what we think. Single most thing which depletes our soul power and energy is "BLAME GAME " . Lets stop blaming others for our emotions . We get angry , jealous etc and we say its because of others or because of so and so situation .

Lets take personal responsibility  , then we can accept and change the same . Else every time we keep on blaming and same cycle goes on .

Sense of Touch

Nice article by Preeti shenoy on Sense of Touch .

Relationships are mostly exchange of energy between 2 individuals . It is how we think about other person rather than how we behave or talk to that individual . Our energy and vibrations convey more than our words . Words are just on external level . So be very careful on what you think about other person . Foundation of any relationship is based on that . If you think negatively about that individual , then outer words cannot build the relationship and its not gonna last long . Lets be very careful on what thoughts we create about any individual .

Confessions

Thanks for the great response from previous blogs . It really encourages me to write more .Heard interesting conversation regarding confessing your mistakes . Why do everyone says to confess your mistakes to God or to the person whom you committed the Sin .Will it not cause the results caused by the Sin ?? or any other Reason . Got a beautiful answer for that .

By Confessing your sins , the results of the action are not removed , but by confessing and not repeating the mistake again , you are empowering yourself . Thereby you will be  in better position to handle the results of your sin . We tend to make mistakes . So confess and move on without repeating the same mistake again.

Right & Wrong

“So far, about morals, I know only that what is moral is what you feel good after and what is immoral is what you feel bad after.”
― Ernest HemingwayDeath in the Afternoon

Most of the time , I'm in a  confused state of mind  as what is right and what is wrong . Each person has a different opinion on it . Thereby after lot of thought , I came to a conclusion .

If I'm feeling stable , good ,calm and in peace after that action performed  then that action is right or good decision . If that action leads me to guilt , negativity , instability and fear , then that action is wrong . Similarly in relationships , if you are at ease with person , then that relationship is right but if you are not comfortable  and have to put on an act   then  that relationship is not right .

Be Available

It is easier said than done to "Be Available " . Here I'm not talking about whatsapp status , its about being available for everyone . Are we always available for whoever needs us or do we give lame excuses .  Today one of my aunt is suffering from dengue and she needed blood  . How many of us will actually go ahead and donate blood other than people who have genuine reasons that they cannot donate. This mite be just a small example .

Lets try to be available for people . I'm not saying we need to do something which we can't . At least
whenever possible , lets give our best in helping people . It could be in any away . Probably shoulder to cry or anything else. Lets not give lame excuses . If something is beyond our capacity , then there is no question of being available . Apart from that , lets be available not only to our dear and near ones but to all :)

Read a turtle story where turtle and 2 swans were living together in a lake . Water in the lake got over .So they decided to move to different lake  , but the turtle couldn't travel so far . So the swans decided to hold a stick and turtle had to hold it with its mouth in middle of stick and swans would hold in ends.  And they started their journey .
Almost about to reach the new lake , turtle got excited and opened its mouth to say wonderful lake , it fell down and died . Similarly in life , we need to know when to talk and when to shut our mouths .
Another moral is to live life with awareness, Increase your awareness by practicing meditation today :)

Vision

Had a amazing time in ashram yesterday . It was a revision for me with happiness program participants  including my sister who was part of it . My vision became much more clearer to me what I want out of life and where I want to head . Thanks to amazing 4 teachers who were there and beautiful atmosphere there . We need to be more grateful in life . There is "thatastu " ( let it happen ) God everywhere  . If you keep on cribbing , that happens . If you are grateful , grace increases .

Priorities

Other day  colleague of mine was arguing that  he drinks alcohol once in a while and its alright . I told him its like saying you have painkillers once in a while , but side effects can be damaging.

Lets not be judgmental about anyone or anything . We need to strive to be perfect inside rather than outside . Whatever happens outside , we need to remain stable .

Every hour do a mental check , if anything is bothering you . If anything is bothering  , clear it up , then itself. We can't change others , we need to accept and move ahead for our own peace of mind .

Lets not get disturbed by others behavior.Lets get our priorities right . Our first priority should be towards ourselves , maintaining our state of mind .

Next if in a organization head , then it should be towards people and their feelings .

And Next should be on work . We generally tend to put all our focus on work and tend to neglect ourselves and people . This results in attrition and productivity decreases .

"Keep some hatred alive in you, if you always tend to forget and forgive who will make u experience the art of improvisation, which strength will be your motivation every morning u wake up, what will generate that strong belief that u deserve something better!!! .. Compete with yourself, not to show to this fake world or to prove those who never care , but just to you because you are too important in your life to be cared by fools around"

Question and Answers

Interesting Question and answers from Bawa and Dinesh blog  posted it here.

Q. I always hear that one should not get too attached to anything. Can you please explain how one can refrain from getting too attached to something or someone at the same time enjoy whatever it is?
A. Have you ever seen a wet swan? though swans are always in water, they are never wet isnt it? Like that be in world, do everything, but be untouched by it… your practices, your Seva will slowly (sometimes it be very fast too:)) but surely bring this up in you without much effort from your side…

Q. How to get over lust?
A. First off dont make a big deal out of it… to get over it there are 4 things that really help a lot
1. Do some creative stuff, lust will simply not bother you when you have a hobby, you do Seva, you cook a meal for someone, you organise a picnic… whatever…
2. Physical exercise: go jogging, swimming, to the gym… do Suryanamaskars… sweat it out! good for your body and mind and definitely great to get over any obsession
3. Dancing… dance to some devotional music, even some soft pop or rock is fine… move your body with abandon… with eyes closed surrender to the music…
4. and finally Cold Cold water baths!!

Mistakes

“Wise is the one who learns from another´s mistakes. Less wise is the one who learns only from his own mistakes. The fool keeps making the same mistakes again and again and never learns from them.”

― Sri Sri Ravi Shankar
Something is bothering me from past 2 days . Its a mistake which I did and I feel guilty about it  .But after hearing Guruji s knowledge , I'm free out of it . No action is perfect . So move on , without repeating the same mistake again.  Wisdom is to accept mistakes . Foolish people don't even realize their mistakes .
