How to Keep Smiling

Rejection , discipline - Preeti Shenoy talks about everything in this wonderful video posted below  . Worth Watching twice .

https://youtu.be/hwCXez1qPOM

Life can be very challenging at times , still its very important to remain stable and go on . Move with the flow and not give up , Things will turn out to be better .  Some people ask me  how to keep smiling at challenging times and Sri Sri  has given the perfect answer for it .

How to keep smiling
What robs you of your smile is unpleasant events. Events that do not bring comfort or which appear to give you misery.

When you realize that you are much bigger than events that occur, then the smile on your face will not vanish.

Second when you know that there is someone to guide you, take care of you, then also your smile will not vanish.

Third when you know that you are here to give. That gives you strength to move through moments when you cannot smile.

Little Things

“It has long been an axiom of mine that the little things are infinitely the most important.”
― Arthur Conan DoyleThe Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes

During my exams in school , I used to answer the most difficult questions, but I would have made mistake in a silly question . So many times , it happens in our life also , we tend to make silliest mistakes  . We are very careful in big things but we tend to neglect the small things .

Lets today start focusing on small things as well . Lets not take anything or anyone lightly . I have seen some people who can handle very big situations but struggle during small situations  . Lets not neglect anything . May it be small or big . Lets give our 100% in whatever we do . May it be in our work or relationships . Lets not take anything for granted . It is in very small things we are judged not the big things.

Sunrise

http://www.deccanherald.com/content/470749/phenomenal-woman.html

This article in Deccan Herald needs to be thought about  . Its high time
woman needs to stand up for her rights  rather than accepting everything blindly .

Tips for a Happier, Less Stressful Life shared by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar:

1) Work and life are one and the same. There is no such thing as a personal time and a public time sthat you keep separate.
2) When we think, we should not be reactive and instead be responsive.
3) Let go of the past. Carrying it with you will only drain you.
4) Do not feel guilty. It only brings anger in you and creates a platform to be nasty. Past is past. Mistakes happen when you’re not in the right state of consciousness. Resolve not to repeat it and do good work instead.
5) Happiness and love are our true nature. And the happiness that you feel is actually connected to the people around you.
6) Accept there are pleasant and unpleasant moments. You need to remember this to maintain the equanimity of your mind.
7) Learn to accept diversity. Honor it. It should not be tolerated, but instead be celebrated. You have to see the world as one family.
8) Men should not step on women’s emotions, and women should not step on men’s ego.
9) Do not ask for proof of love. It is a burden to have to prove love.
10) Think of destiny and free will as this: Height is your destiny, weight is your free will.
11) Make one new friend a day. Don’t be too serious. Smile more.
12) Don’t give up.
13) Battling with cancer? Don’t say that. Saying you’re “battling cancer” will make you feel weaker.
14) There are no bad guys. There are only misled and misguided people.
15) Make room for imperfection. Think of it as the area in your house where you keep your garbage. You need that area to keep your entire house nice and clean, right?
