After being in IT industry for 4 years , Some of the very essential Qualities of a leader mentioned below :
1. Never criticize in front of whole team . If any mistake done , talk to the person individually rather than creating a scene in front of everyone . Never send any escalation mails targeting a particular individual to whole team . Self Esteem of a person has to be taken care.
2. Have empathy towards the team . Speak to them , have always an open discussion. They should be free to tell you anything bothering them.
3. Don't always hear one side of the Story . Hear from other point of view and then take a decision.
4. Don't see intentions behind mistakes . Address in such a way that it shouldn't be repeated.
5. Take Responsibility and accountability for everything.
