Its some days in my life when I feel I have truly lived , Yesterday was one of them . We had this CSR activity at office (CSR is Corporate Social Responsibility ) , where kids from a underprivileged school were bought to office . They were all so excited . There were 20 kids mostly in their 5th and 6th Standards . We had to escort them to the 7th floor in lift . Some of the kids were literally scared in lift. Some of them sat down in lift. We had to ensure them that nothing is gonna happen .
They all loved the place . We had the floor walk , showed the the entire floor . They were interacting with employees that too in English , probably they were told that you had to speak only in English . Their energy and enthusiasm was unbeatable . They were too excited . Probably something which we have all lost in our lives -energy , enthusiasm and excitement in fulfilling our dreams and ambitions .
Then we had a video conferencing session . 10 kids in one room and other 10 kids in another room , making them understand the technology . Not sure whether they understood technology , they definitely had a lot of fun seeing their friends on TV.
Finally , we gave them our laptops so that they could play some games and they did enjoy the most .
They were really good at it and lastly wonderful lunch . All these kids had big dreams , just hope it gets fulfilled and they become pillars of the country . They all wanted to grow up and work in a IT company . Lets do whatever bit we can to support their dreams .
