Two students studying in tenth standard committed suicide as they were punished for playing holi in school premises. Where are we going with this Education System which doesn't value celebration . I understand discipline is important but not at the cost of lives .We have made our children robots who have no value system at all. Future these people are gonna be leaders who would have no courage to face the world.
Does our Education System teaches us to face challenges , to be happy , to share ?? At least is it teaching us to think differently and work effectively in the Corporate World .I don't think so. It is only teaching us to compete with one another and pull others down . Parents have a huge responsibility here if the education system is failing .Parents should teach their children to inculcate basic human values .
I found this letter which Abraham Lincoln wrote to his son's teacher at school . May be we can implement it and teach our younger generation same values so that they can follow .
